About Size and Color & Wrong Items, Refunds
We advise you on top of every page, it is your responsibility to yourself, not just us, to
email us if you have "serious concerns about size, color, or materials" before we ship."
We want to help you, but we can't read minds.
Remember that computer browser colors vary. As all products and fabrics take coloration differently, an "exact" color match is nearly impossible.
Professional Decorators "coordinate" colors the way "Mother Nature" does it. Many greens, reds, blues, tans, blend beautifully with similar colors. They don't need to "match" exactly.
If you have specific concerns or target date, email us BEFORE you order to avoid
unpleasant situations. We sell "standard" size items. Sizes and colors listed on web pages
may be approximate. This is not clothing. However, you may care where something has
to fit a limited space.
Always monitor your email when you buy online. You'll most likely have your order or
an email from us about it within the next 17-21 days, or sooner. If you have a target date,
email us immediately to see if it's feasible.
LOSS IN THE MAIL
Loss is very rare. Zero packahes in 46 years. After 21 business days, not sooner, from the date we shipped to you, the post office will begin a search if you still don't have it.
If we shipped by postal service, You will need to go in person to your post office to see if they have it before they will search.
Never Return Merchandise!!!
It will cost you exorbitant postage to own nothing.
If it is broken, we will refuse it.
Email us, and we'll email you an insurance receipt and instructions.Don't return a package without emailing us what it's about first.
Do not buy if you are uncertain. Sizes are often "approximate." Colors may vary by computer. Always email us any concerns, first. Due to the fragility and the costly shipping of a big heavy package, and because we guarantee our merchandise to be brand new first quality, direct from the source, we cannot accept returns. We do not sell YOU returned merchandise that bounced twice across America and then on to you. If anything arrives damaged email us immediately. The post office or UPS will reimburse you.
"Our Error?"
If you order red and receive black, or you order hearts and get roosters, that qualifies as an incorrect shipment.
If we send you an item that is not the specific one you ordered, or it has a manufacturer's defect, we will mail you a return postage label or a printable label page and exchange it for the correct item..
If you receive something you did not order, Email us. We will pay your return postage and ship the correct order or issue a refund if it is no longer available.
"INCORRECT" MERCHANDISE
If you order round and need square, THAT IS NOT OUR ERROR. And if you don't read your order confirmation, and you get what the order says instead of what's in your head, that is not our error.
Please don't buy it unless you know you want it, and you made sure it is the right size and color for your needs, and it will arrive in time for your purpose.
Please remember that our ceramics, burner covers, teakettles and tableware are sold essentially for their pattern, as "decorative collectibles." While their functionality is usually as stated, function, size or style may be changed by the producer before we receive a shipment. We can't always know it was changed inside its package, or advise you about it. That is why if you have a serious concern you need to tell us before we ship.
The condition of boxes can never be guaranteed.
WHY DO PRODUCTS HAVE BOXES?
Some boxes have sizes or instructions printed on them. Merchandise can't be transported safely, or identified or stored without some kind of protective, identifying, outer container (its box).
We do not sell "GIFT" boxes. We sell what's inside the box.
Our boxes usually look brand new, but sometimes they don't.
Boxes may take a lot of abuse, (so that the product inside does not).
Boxes hold merchandise stored in warehouses abroad, then shipped to USA warehouses, then shipped to us, then shipped to you.
They may get creased from the boxes piled on top of them. They may get faded from climate changes, or rubbed from being sandwiched between other boxes all being moved from place to place.
What we guarantee:
We are selling you "genuine" licensed patterns, trademarked or copyrighted and declared first quality by the brand's manufacturer, wherever brands are stated.
If it is described as "porcelain, enamel on steel," it is, like a pot or like your stove surface.
( it is not tin).
Enamel on steel teakettles always can be heated on stovetops. (on medium heat).
"Ceramic / porcelain" teakettles do not heat on stove tops. They resemble china dishes. Pre-heat with hot or boiling water and then fill, to help maintain heat from your beverage.
If we say it is "ceramic," it is. (It is not plastic resin).
Our "Solid Stainless Steel" is NOT chrome, like many others are.
